Do you know what's in your water?

The Environmental and Protection Agency (EPA) recommends that all private well owners test their water annually for nitrates and coliform/e.coli bacteria. Enviro Service, Inc., can perform that test for you for just $30, and results can be obtained within 7 days.

Sampling is easy...The sampling kit contains two containers, a clear 125-ml plastic bottle for coliform anlaysis and a 125-ml poly bottle for nitrate analysis. You just select a water tap that supplies untreated water (like an outdoor spigot) and allow the water to run for several minutes until cold. Then, remove the lids and fill the containers (using the instructions included in the kits). Drop the samples off at Enviro Service in Scottsbluff within 30 hours of collection, and results will be on their way (we do not accept samples on Fridays).
